Be An Artist.

This was the start of my journey at BerkleeNYC in the LMPD Masters Program. This was an opportunity to showcase a talent and art form that I love.

I feel fortunate enough to have had the chance to play with Felix Luo(guitar) and Brett Orenstein(sax). The two of which would go on to become some of my closest friends. We choose to play a modern rendition of a classic jazz standard, “Green Dolphin Street”, showcasing how musicians improvise in live music.

We had 4 minutes to perform and create a live experience. We learned a lot from this experience, principally that much more goes into a live performance than just performing. Thanks to the incredible staff at BerkleePowerstation, we managed to pull it off and focus on Being An Artist.
